Whirlpool Bathtub: 9-Month Review

After using this whirlpool bathtub for over 9 months, I can confidently say it delivers on both build quality and performance.

Build & Assembly:
The materials used are top-notch: sturdy panels, precise cuts, and no cheap plastics in sight. Assembly was surprisingly straightforward. All we needed was a screwdriver and a monkey wrench to get the panels screwed in and the pipes connected to the filler system. Me and my dad (neither of us are professionals) put the whole thing together in about 3 hours, without any instructions. If we had done this before, it probably would’ve taken just 30 to 60 minutes. Each screw lined up perfectly with its hole, which speaks volumes about the precision engineering.

Performance:
The motor is powerful and still runs like a charm after consistent use for 9 months. All dimensions matched exactly what was promised in the pamphlet, which helped with planning and installation. No surprises there and that’s a huge plus.

Issues & Heads-Up:
There are a couple of things buyers should be aware of:

1. Fixed Orientation: The tub can only be installed in a specific direction. it isn’t reversible. So, when ordering, make sure you specify which side panel you need based on your bathroom layout. It’s a small but critical detail that could save you a big headache.

2. Delivery Condition: While the packaging was extremely secure (took us 2 hours just to get it out of the box. Seriously, bring a crowbar), there were a few damages. The drainage pipe was torn in half, the shower head had noticeable scratches on the back, and there was a small chip on the bathtub side. Minor, but frustrating.

Final Verdict

Despite the minor delivery hiccups, the product itself is solid and performs exceptionally well. Easy installation, excellent material quality, and a motor that doesn’t give up. I’d definitely recommend it, just make sure you double-check the orientation and inspect the parts thoroughly upon delivery.

I ordered REX BATHTUB I’m really happy with this bathtub! The quality is excellent – sturdy, comfortable, and just as described. What impressed me even more was the packaging and delivery. Even though I live in Bangalore and order was from Patiala, it was delivered in perfect condition, without any scratches or damage. Installation was smooth, and it looks great in my bathroom. I had a great experience with Madonna Home Solutions. The product quality is excellent — sturdy and well-designed with a nice mixed plastic finish.

Delivery was smooth and well-handled.

The only thing missing was the drainage valve, which I had to purchase separately.

If that could be included in future, it would make the product perfect.

I had a smooth experience buying the jacuzzi from Madonna. At first I was skeptical as I was buying directly and not via Amazon or Flipkart. But they made sure to have proper video call and explaining features that can be useful. We got it installed from a local plumber who made some mistake so they sent their team all the way from North to Bengaluru to sort it out. I really liked their after sales service as well. Hope they continue to maintain that service.

You can trust them blindly best price if u compare to the shops like i saved more then 6 k and they have lot of options of sizes which you can’t get in shops
Got delivery in remote village for freee where shop owners from my city asking for more then 1k
Quality wise this is better thwn lot of big brands in market they are giving warranty and colour options too which u can’t get on small city’s.

A wonderful & quality product reasonably priced.

I purchased this Rex freestanding bathtub, which measures 5.5' x 2.5' with Jacuzzi Massage and Bubble Bath, during the end of September 2024, which got delivered during the 2nd week of October directly through DP Logistics. This tub is equipped with 1HP Bubble motor and 1.5 HP Jacuzzi Massage. The tub in dry state weighs between 40 kgs to 50kgs. Bathtub is easy to maintain.

Initially while placing the order for the first time directly with the company, I was skeptical of making payment as this company's name isn't familiar with any vendors or dealers here at Bangalore, since the company doesn't have any dealers or vendors across the country, except for their product listings in Amazon & Flipkart. However, Miss.Sarabjeet helped me right from the order placement till delivery. Also she's been highly courteous even post delivery while clearing my doubts with regard to installation and also while pursuing for service support.

This tub is subjected to prior tests before shipment. This unit is shipped as plug and play unit, for which there are couple of prerequisites. The placements for water tap connections for both Hot & Cold for filling the tub and an Electrical 3 pin 15 & 5 amps dual socket on the side of the tub where the plug is provisioned. Miss. Sarabjeet had already suggested in hand of these requirement before shipment of the bathtub.

I have been using this bathtub daily for about 40 minutes. This product has lived up to its expectations. Great massage and relaxation !

Recently, the bubble bath motor seized due to some electrical short. Eventually, I reached Mr.Vijay, the manager & Miss.Sarabjeet for support. The technicians Mr.Sunil & Mr.Bhupinder Singh attended the call in a span of a week's time who identified the issue. A brand new motor was shipped through courier in couple of days post the technician's visit. My electrician installed this pump/motor and the motor is running perfectly well. Even though there was a slight delay in technician's visit, I appreciate their honest efforts in addressing the issue. Since the company is operating only from Patiala, certainly there would be slight delays in technician's visit, as the technicians visit customers across the country based on their call sheet.

Otherwise, I don't foresee any issues with the product or the support post sales. An important tip based on my recent experience with regard to the motor seizure. My electrician has installed an ELR 25 Amps between the power cable (from where the power line has been extended) and the source AEH line as a safety measure. Any slightest glitch in Electrical Phase, Neutral, or Earthing the ELR trips immediately. So, any new customers or existing customers can get this ELR installed to prevent any damages to the bathtub motors.

As of now, I am satisfied completely about the product quality and the service support.

It was a great experience buying bathtub at Madonna.

First of all, I could not find a freestanding acrylic bathtub in 4.5 ft anywhere online or direct stores except here.

Based on the good reviews, I had contacted Madonna via email even though their location is far from Bangalore , got a response from Sarabjeet Kaur immediately, she was very attentive and got all my requirements, measurements and suggested this item which turned out to be an excellent choice. The entire process starting from inquiry till installation, everything was smooth and hassle-free.

The tub got delivered safely through Bluedart in less than a week and Sarabjeet was continuously sharing the updates about the delivery.

Installation was straight forward and no much manual effort required.

The tub's look and feel is amazing and my kid enjoys it. Thanks to the whole team!

A true delight!

Had stumbled upon Madonna home solutions/ Mr. Mukesh by sheer luck. We were building a new floor in Jul'22, and were very particular on the aesthetic and functionality we wanted in the kitchen.
From the very start Mr. Mukesh understood the brief and gave a lot of smart & practical inputs while we were constructing the place.
His team was efficient and did the set up swiftly, and the result was a kitchen that delivered on our high expectations.

But that wasn't all.
There was a minor issue a couple of times and the Madonna team has always been prompt in resolving the same.
In fact, just last week, the team made a voluntary maintenance visit to home (I had not called them) to check if things are good. They pro-actively checked each and every fitment and serviced it beautifully. Special mention to Mr. Gurdit, who I have seen for nearly 2 years now. He leads the team well, and they are extremely proficient and professional.

My family has also got work done by Madonna Home solutions subsequently, and we have recommended their service to others too. Resulting in multiple satisfied customers.
Goes without saying, if you are looking at a specialist, you should have a word with the team at least once. They will ensure that you don't have anything to worry about after that!
